What training method do you use?
We use positive training that is fun for the dog and there owner. It is easy and quick for the owner and dog to learn. We also train them to be off leash reliable under heavy everyday distractions.
What Certifications do you have?
Justin Kitts/Head Trainer is a certified Military Police dog trainer and handler with over 10k hrs of training time. He also is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College.
Why should I choose Mutts 2 Manners over your competitors?
I have many hours of experience as well as being extremely professional. A lot of trainers have never had official training at a school, I have. Also on average my prices our cheaper then my competitors by 20%. I train dogs to listen in every environment not just pet smart or some other rip off clicker trainer school that only teaches your dog to listen for treats.
How much should I expect to pay for professional training?
We have training packages for everyone's budget. On average you can expect to pay anywhere from $600 to $1200 for in home training and $1600 to $3200 for boot camp. It may seem expensive to some but our prices our cheaper than our competitors’ who's rates can exceed $6000.
What types of dogs do you train?
We can train any dog, any age, and any breed it doesn't matter.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes we give you a life time guarantee. This guarantee is used if your dog falls back on training or a behavior problem re-occurs.
Where do you service?
We service valley wide. There may be an additional travel fee added if you reside more than 25 miles outside the center of the city. What is the difference between boot camp and in home training?
In home training is done in your home once a week for about an hour. We train the dog and you on certain commands then you practice those commands all week. When we come out the following week you move on to more things.
Boot Camp is the opposite we take your dog and it lives in one of the trainers houses. They get 4 hours of training a day as well as exercise and play time. We return your dog back to you trained and you just have to keep the dog proficient with the training.
